9/17/2011 - New HHN 21 Content!

Yesterday, I found a fairly decent sized package at my door. Inside was a box with my name on it. Upon opening it, I found this note from Lady Luck, calling me to face her at Halloween Horror Nights 21. Also inside was this gruesome 'gift' holding my invitation card, serving as a grisly reminder that when Lady Luck calls, it's best not to ignore her. Guess I'll be facing Lady Luck on September 23rd! Wish me luck? Or maybe not...

In other news, head on over to the HHN 21 audio page to listen to several different versions of this year's radio commercial. I've also added several new press photos Universal has released to the HHN 21 photo page, so check those out as well!

And, last but not least, Universal added two more games to the "Take a Chance" section of the HHN website. Upon beating these new games, you'll unlock backstories for The Thing and The In-Between houses.

9/8/2011 - Construction, Website, and Content Updates!

Street construction is really starting to kick into gear, and it looks like some of the scarezones are nearing completion. Head over to the HHN 21 construction page to see a new update from today featuring 24 photos from around the park!

The "Take a Chance" section of the HHN website has seen two updates in the past week. Five new multiplayer games have been added, which they can only be accessed from 6pm until 6am. Like before, the games relate to a specific house, and beating them will get you the other half of that colored poker chip. Once you have that second half, you unlock a page of backstory information about the corresponding house. It's pretty awesome, so if you haven't beaten all the games yet, head over to the "Take a Chance" section now!

And last but not least, I've updated the HHN 21 videos page with several different versions of this year's TV commercial. I've also added the HHN radio commercial to the HHN 21 audio page. Enjoy!

9/1/2011 - Tons of Updates!

On Tuesday night, Universal updated the HHN 21 website to include all the houses, scarezones and shows for this year's event, as well as finally introducing us to our icon, Lady Luck. This year there are eight all new houses, six all new scarezones, a new show called Death Drums, and of course, Bill and Ted. You can read the full press release by clicking here, or you can just check out the official HHN 21 website for all the gory details.

And in construction news, head on over to the HHN 21 construction page to see the latest update in street construction. Lots of props have been added since my last update two weeks ago, and it looks like the streets are shaping up to be pretty incredible this year. You can view today's update by clicking here.

I've also added several pieces of new content to their respective HHN 21 pages. For starters, you can check out the full HHN 21 reveal video and the web version of the HHN 21 commercial on the HHN 21 Videos page. I've also completely reorganized the HHN 21 Photos page, and renamed the generic "hint" images to their actual house names, so check that out to see the plethora of HHN 21 images released thus far.

8/24/2011 - Website and Photo Updates!

Universal added a new game to the "Take a Chance" section of the HHN website this past Monday, "Friend or Foe", a game that's a pretty clear reference to the previously announced The Thing haunted house. We now have eight games, assumedly one for each of this year's haunted houses. However, on The House page, we only have half of each corresponding poker chip, and a pretty big, but still seemingly incomplete house of cards. Could this mean more games are on the way? A new game for each house perhaps? With the full website reveal only a week away, we very well could continue to see updates to the "Take a Chance" section all the way up until the event begins. I can't wait to see what's coming next.

In other news, Universal has been real busy releasing more hints on their Facebook and Twitter pages. We got two new hints yesterday, both of which have been added to the HHN 21 Photos section of my website, along with the several other images they've released since my last update. I've even added a section for the images our friend "Hal Geluk" has been posting on the HHN Facebook page, so definitely check out the HHN 21 Photo page if you want to see all of this year's images in one place.

8/18/2011 - Construction, Updates, and Twitter!

It seems that street construction for this year's event has started a little earlier than in years past. It's not much, but several pieces of large scaffolding have started popping up in Shrek Alley, New York, and the International Food and Film Festival (IFFF) area. What's interesting to note, is that some of the fences set up in Shrek Alley are on wheels and hinges... could we possibly see a scarezone that changes throughout the night? You can view the construction update by clicking here.

Universal once again updated the "Take a Chance" page this week, adding two new games. One that takes place on an old sailing ship with a loose cannon on the deck, and another that alludes to a literary themed house. And speaking of houses, they've also posted another sneak peek into one of them, with the quote: "And you thought your holidays were killer". Looks pretty awesome.

In other news, I received another HHN 21 playing card in the mail today. This time reading "Where there was Luck, there was Death". This card is even more gory and mangled than the last one, making Luck sound less and less like something (or someone?) I want anything to do with.
